Augst Trail: the first single trail in Altaussee

The new single trail on the Loser in Altaussee.
The Augst Trail on the Loser has long since ceased to be an insider tip: it inspires both experienced athletes and small adventurers and offers an unforgettable experience for both motorized and muscle-powered MTBs!
The Augst Trail, which takes its name from the idyllic Augst Lake, located just above the parking lot of the Panorama Road at 1643 m, is the first trail in the Salzkammergut region specially designed for mountain bikes.
The tour starts directly at the Hagan Lodge hut village and leads at the beginning along the Loser Panoramastraße for about five kilometers to the entry point. From the turnoff to the entry point, follow the marked trail that leads over bridges and narrow hairpin bends down to the underpass of the Loser Panoramastraße. From there, the last section takes you back to AlpenParks Hagan Lodge along the paved Loser Panoramastraße.
After an exciting day on the Augst Trail, enjoy the relaxing atmosphere at the AlpenParks Hagan Lodge cabin village. Relax in your own cozy cabin, recharge your batteries in the private sauna or indulge in culinary delights in the AlpenStub'n restaurant.

The Augst Trail is rated S2 difficulty (on the single trail scale from 0 to 5, i.e. "medium").
The new Augst Trail is passable with mountain bikes but also with e-mountain bikes!
