GENERAL INFORMATION FOR YOUR STAY IN MATREI

Directly at the hotel there is a spacious parking lot, which can be used free of charge. There are two charging stations for e-cars. The car can be fully charged once for a fee of € 20.

The hotel is located in close proximity to the Valley Station of the new top ski & hiking region Grossglockner Resort.

Only 50 meters from the hotel, is the nearest bus stop (Matrei South). From there you can take the bus in the direction of Lienz or the Virgen Valley.

With the guest card, which you receive directly at the hotel at check-in, bus travel in all of East Tyrol is free.

There are some ski schools and sport shops in walking distance.

Mountain bikes and bicycles can be stored in the ski room of the apartment house just opposite the hotel. We will gladly inform you at the reception.

Directly at the hotel we have a small covered motorcycle garage where the motorcycle can be parked.

The restaurant "Alte Mühle" in Matrei is located right next to the hotel.

Kitchen continuously from 11.30 am to 08.45 pm (in the afternoon from 13:40 pm to 07:45 pm there's a small menu)

We have a selection of gluten-free products at the breakfast buffet. We can also order gluten-free bread on request.

Gluten-free dishes are also available in the restaurant "Alte Mühle".

The 49 m² studios have their own small coffee corner area with a fridge, nespresso coffee capsule machine and a kettle.

On the second floor on the terrace there is a small sauna alp which can be used by hotel guests free of charge and offers space for up to 4 people.

Just let the reception know about half an hour before the sauna, then the sauna will be heated by the hotel team.

With pleasure your four-legged darling may come with you on vacation. (only against advance notification).
We charge € 15,- per day (without food). From winter 2024/25: € 19,- per day.

The hotel is located directly in the popular holiday resort Matrei, only 400 m from the village centre.

The guest card is available free of charge at check-in at the reception. With the guest card you can travel for free on public transport throughout East Tyrol, and also enjoy many other discounts in East Tyrolean businesses or museums.
