Cross-country trails in Zell am See-Kaprun

The Zell am See-Kaprun vacation region offers 107 kilometers of perfectly groomed cross-country trails, including connections to the Pinzgau and Saalachtal trails. Cross-country skiing keeps you young, because hardly any other sport strengthens muscles and joints so effectively while being so gentle on the body. The soothing glide across the glistening snow, through breathtaking landscapes, is the source of fitness, well-being, and a great figure.

In Kaprun, beginners and newcomers can enjoy the Schlossloipe trail. This trail is nice and flat with little elevation gain and passes by Kaprun Castle—hence the name. From the Brunnwiesloipe or the Golfplatzloipe in Zell am See, you’ll enjoy particularly stunning views of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area and the Hohe Tauern National Park.

Beginners can rent the necessary equipment at nearby specialty sports shops.
