Perfectly groomed slopes and the beautiful view of the surrounding mountain ranges make snowboarders from all over the world make an annual pilgrimage to Zell am See-Kaprun. Endless winter sports pleasure is guaranteed by 408 kilometres of slopes and 121 lifts including a glacier ski area with the new Ski ALPIN CARD - snowboard fans will get their money's worth.
In one of the 3 snow parks on the Kitzsteinhorn, at a snow-assured altitude between 2,500 and 2,900 metres above sea level, there is a six-metre high half pipe. Snowboarders and free skiers will enjoy many different obstacles.

Freestylers and snowboarders will be completely thrilled by the unlimited possibility of freeriding in the Zell am See-Kaprun region. The backcountry of the Langwiedbahn, which boasts numerous gullies, a varied terrain and many natural pipes, is considered a Mecca for snowboarders and ski freestylers. Another highlight: the magnetic head route. Here powder snow fans will find the perfect conditions to swing down the slope through the soft snow. The route has a length of approx. 1200 metres and leads below the summit lift through the entire cirque. A steep slope is followed by a flatter middle section and after a small final gradient you are back on prepared slopes.
