But that’s not all – hotel guests of the AlpenParks Residence Bad Hofgastein enjoy free admission to the thermal spa.

The Alpentherme is located directly in Bad Hofgastein, a brief walk of only about ten minutes in the fresh air brings you directly from your apartment to the thermal spa. The thermal baths are open daily from 9 am to 9 pm, and from Thursday to Saturday from 9 am to 10 pm.
Those looking for tranquillity as well as adventurers get their money’s worth in the various areas of the Alpentherme.
Looking for relaxation? The Relax World is the place to be. Leave the hectic everyday life behind you in no time in the diverse oases of tranquillity, and charge up on pleasant warmth in the hot primal spring pool with a water temperature of 36 degrees. A fire digestorium, several pools with geysers, and the sparkling spring loungers are some other highlights of this world of recreation. There’s also the “Emerald Lake”, a whole lake for swimming filled with thermal spring waters awaits you in the outdoor area.
Information: Renovation of Family World
- Family World will be completely closed from Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
- Just in time for the start of the summer vacations - the majority of Family World will be back in operation. The only exception will be the inside area of the dome. After that, no disruption to the rest of Family World is to be expected due to the construction site.
- Renovation work in the SB Restaurant area will also start on April 3. The external restaurant will be available to spa guests for the duration of the renovation and will no longer be accessible to external guests from this date.

The Family World offers swimming fun for all ages. Everyone should give the Black Hole rafting slide a shot; the speed slide is for particularly brave little water rats. Race down the steep slide in rapid tempo, a stopwatch declares the fastest family member the winner. Those now longing for relaxation can float on in the Lazy River stream canal. Immerse yourself in different worlds in the multimedia experience dome and in the water cinema. Video projections, nature documentaries or gripping insights from Gastein Valley are on the itinerary there. Additionally, the four-lane wave slide (30 m long) in the outdoor area can be tackled in summer.
The Sauna World presents itself multifaceted and spacious across the indoor and outdoor areas. Dominating materials in the rustic sauna village amidst the health resort park are wood, stone and glass, reflecting in the cool Mountain Lake and the 370-m²-large Crystal Lake. Nothing stands in the way of cooling off after pleasant sauna sessions. The Cascadia Sauna brings the action. This large sweat lodge for up to 60 persons provides top-class show and special infusions. Many additional saunas, infrared cabins, steam baths, relaxation rooms or a brine grotto cap off the offerings.
Relaxing among fellow women is the motto of the Ladies World. This sauna area for ladies only is entirely tailored to female desires and needs, providing undisturbed indulgence and relaxation. The highlights: Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin, fire digestorium, roof terrace, quiet zones, and care rooms. Finally, a tea bar offers space for stimulating conversations and relaxed encounters.
