From the piste to the thermal springs in Bad Hofgastein
Winter sportsmen can go straight from the valley station of Schlossalmbahn in Bad Hofgastein to the Alpine thermal springs. The ski run crosses the main road in Gastein via a bridge and takes tired skiers right to the big car-park at the thermal springs.

How far is the AlpenParks Residence from the Schlossalmbahn cable car?
The Schlossalmbahn valley station is approximately 1.3 km from the apartment. The free ski bus will take you to the valley station in 5 minutes.
Are there ski schools and ski rentals nearby?
Yes, there is a ski rental shop right next to the apartments. There are also several ski schools and sports shops offering ski rental, ski service, and storage at the Schlossalmbahn. Ski lessons for children and beginners are also available there.
Who is the Schlossalm ski resort best suited for?
The ski resort is ideal for families, beginners, and recreational skiers, but also for athletic skiers and freeriders. Angertal has children's areas and ski schools, while Stubnerkogel offers athletic runs and fun parks.
Is Bad Hofgastein guaranteed to have snow?
Yes, thanks to modern snow-making equipment and an altitude of over 2,000 meters, the Gastein Valley is considered snow-sure from November to April. Sportgastein in particular is known for its long season.
