From the town centre to the glacier
From the center of Kaprun directly to the glacier Kitzsteinhorn. The 3K K-onnection, Salzburg's first 3S cable car, connect the Maiskogel with Langwied in the glacier ski area. The cable car is only 250 meters away from the Hotel & Apartment Orgler Kaprun.
The skiing area for families in Kaprun: Maiskogel
The wide ski slopes on the family mountain Maiskogel offer a gentle and comfortable contrast to the high alpine glacier ski area. Young and old winter sports enthusiasts alike love the new Maisi Park with wave runs, steep turns, small jumps and a snowpark line. At the mountain station at 1,570 meters above sea level, the platform "Salzachblick" offers a great panoramic view of the Salzach valley and the surrounding mountains.
Kids & beginners practice their first swings on the Lechnerberg - right in the center of Kaprun. The wide, slightly inclined slope is the ideal training location for untrained ones. The Lechnerberg can be reached within a few minutes - on foot or comfortably with the free ski bus.
