How to find us in the Hochkönig region
The Wildbach Lodge Dienten is located at the foot of the Hochkönig in the Salzburg region – idyllic, easily accessible, and only about an hour from Salzburg. Here you will find all the information you need for arriving by car, train, or plane.
Getting to Dienten am Hochkönig
By car
- From Salzburg / East: Take the A10 motorway to the Pongau-Bischofshofen junction, continue via Bischofshofen and the Dientner Sattel pass or alternatively via Lend – Dienten.
- From Rosenheim / north & west: Take the motorway towards Innsbruck, exit at Kufstein Süd, continue via St. Johann – Saalfelden – Dienten.
- From the south: Take the A10 as from the east or via Zell am See – Saalfelden – Dienten.

By train
The nearest train stations are located in:
- Saalfelden (approx. 20 km)
- Bischofshofen (approx. 30 km)
- Zell am See (approx. 40 km)
- Salzburg (approx. 70 km)
From there, you can easily reach Dienten by taxi or shuttle. We recommend the local taxi company Bürgler for the onward journey.
By plane
The nearest international airport is Salzburg (SZG), approx. 70 km away. Alternatively, you can reach us via Munich or Innsbruck airports. From there, you can continue your journey to Dienten by train, rental car, or shuttle.
