Insider tip:
A cosy hike to Fritz Sendlhofer’s unique saw museum, high above Zell am See, with the largest collection of saws in the world and the oldest saw in Europe is definitely worthwhile. Local to the Zell region and an Olympic beard champion, Sendlhofer brews the finest beer in his "Sagl-Bräu" on the Zeller Sonnberg, and the view of the mountain town is breathtakingly brilliant from up here.
