With the hotel's own E-Bike hire and depending upon availability, you can investigate the natural surroundings at a leisurely pace, or cycle to Lienz without even breaking into a sweat.
AlpenParks Hotel Montana Matrei is really close to the new 'Tauernstadion Matrei' – the best starting point for a football training camp and more! The impressive stadium which has natural and artificial pitches, as well as floodlit facilities, is conveniently located for transport facilities on the edge of the town and just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The artificial pitch next to the main playing fields is particularly sought after, since it provides the best possible use, since it can be used on even when there is rain and snow. Footballers from Salzburg, Tirol and Carinthia come to train in Matrei in Osttirol just because of the artificial pitch.
