Special arrangements for the SUMMER 2020

Can I already book and when must I cancel at the latest?

For the summer 2020 you can book at any time, completely relaxed. Should you not be able to start your journey, a free cancellation or rebooking is possible up to 3 days before arrival.

How do they regulate the Corona measures in the hotel?

As soon as exact guidelines and specifications are announced we can inform you about the following points.

  • DISTANCE - fortunately the AlpenParks Sonnleiten (opening in Dec. 2018) has been planned generously and according to the latest guidelines, so that the necessary distance will always be given in all areas. From the underground car park to the restaurant - from the private bike cellar (storage) to the private sauna.

  • DISINFECTION - is available to our guests in the public areas (toilets, reception and restaurant)

  • HYGIENE - has been one of the most important areas in the hotel and catering industry for years. This is why all our employees were thoroughly trained and instructed even before Corona. In the specialist areas of hotel laundry and building cleaning, we rely on long-term partners who specialise in hygienic cleaning. For example, bed linen is cleaned to hospital standards.

  • CONTACTLESS - but not alone - you can already check-in ONLINE at home.
    All information about the hotel and Saalbach are also available digitally via the Hotel- und Saalbach APP directly on your smartphone.

  • STREAMING AND SURFING - the Sonnleiten has high-speed WLAN which you can also use on the SMART TVs in the apartments.

  • CULINARY - by far the most comfortable way to be cooked on holiday. In the restaurant and bar TROADKAST'n in-house you can let yourself be spoiled as you prefer. Served with service in the restaurant or as TAKE AWAY for your apartment (all dishes from our à la carte menu). Fresh rolls can be ordered the evening before and will be ready for collection in the restaurant in the morning.

  • MOUTH PROTECTION - we request that you wear mouth protection in public areas.

  • PRIVACY PLEASE - Choose a suitable apartment for 2 to 10 people that offers you as much privacy, space or proximity as you like. Decide with how many additional services you want to spoil yourself. The cleaning staff enters the apartments only on request of the guests during their stay. Take the opportunity and book your PRIVATE SAUNA in the apartment.

  • CLEANING - We trust in experienced partners who are specialized in hygienic cleaning. Of course all areas have been and will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, not forgetting door buckles, remote controls, telephone receivers, window handles, kitchen worktops ....

How will the childcare be organised?

✔ Children's health is the top priority.
✔ The animators welcome the children with a special ritual, without physical contact.
✔ They keep a minimum distance of 1.50 m and also pay attention to the children.
✔ They discuss general and special hygiene measures with the children.
✔ They make sure that the children cough and sneeze in the crook of their arm or in a handkerchief and not in their hand.
✔ They should wash their hands regularly and thoroughly, especially after going to the toilet and before eating.
✔ Make sure that the children do not shake hands or put their hands on their face.
✔ Wearing mouth and nose protection is subject to the respective instructions.
✔ Our animators are fully informed about Corona and take all precautions.
✔ Our animators have received comprehensive instruction.
✔ Only animators who feel healthy work for us.
✔ Our animators comply with the local hygiene requirements.
✔ For the animation there will be respective participation lists. In order that all children can take part once, each child may, for example, register for a maximum of two programme points per week, this will be flexibly adapted to the respective situation.

Questions and answers

Are parking spots available at the hotel?

Parking spots are available in our underground car park. One free space is included per apartment/room. If you travel with several cars per apartment/room, booking another underground parking spot is obligatory for EUR 10 per day. Please declare upon booking. E-Charging stations are available. Please declare upon booking.

How far away is the ski lift?

You’re in the best location with only a few steps to the Kohlmais with the lift facilities TURMLIFT and KOHLMAISLIFT and, as such, in the heart of the Skicircus. Reach the lifts on the BERNKOGEL and SCHATTBERG after a few swings and steps.

How far is it to central Saalbach?

Central Saalbach is only a 10-minute walk from the Hotel & Apartment Sonnleiten.

How long is reception open?

Our reception is open daily for you from 8 am to 7 pm.

When can we check in and when do we have to check out?

Our rooms are available to you from 3 pm on the arrival day. We ask you to vacate the rooms by 10 am on departure day. Hotel services end with breakfast. LATE CHECK OUT until 4 pm can be booked on site for a surcharge of EUR 30 per apartment|room and depending on availability.

If you arrive after the reception closes please contact the hotel. You will receive your personal access code.

Is there a sports store nearby?

In cooperation with our partner BRÜNDL SPORTS you’re picked up from the hotel by VIP shuttle and transferred directly to the ski rental.

Can we book breakfast or half-board in addition to our stay?

You can book breakfast or half board for your stay. You can book for the whole stay when you make your reservation or on site.

  • Half board can only be booked for the whole stay and at the latest on the day of arrival.
  • Breakfast can also be booked for single days only.

Can I bring my dog?

Your four-legged companion is welcome to join you on holiday. (only with preregistration)
We charge € 15 per day (without food). Dogs are not allowed at the restaurant.

We’d like to inform you that there are several fireworks in Saalbach on New Year’s Eve. Thus, sensitive dogs may not stay unsupervised in the apartments|rooms on this night.

How can I settle my bill?

You may gladly settle your bill with CASH, EC or credit card (Visa and Master Card). The bill is payable upon departure. Please understand we cannot issue customer invoices. You can depart before reception opening with PRE CHECK OUT on the night before.

What is already available in an apartment?

The basic amenities are covered by the AlpenParks superior service:

  • High-quality fitted kitchen with full equipment
  • Branded kitchen appliances ceramic stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher
  • Toaster, kettle, Nespresso and filter coffee machine
  • Anteroom with wardrobe
  • Smart TV, WLAN, Safe
  • Large balcony or terrace with table, chairs and parasol
  • Cleaning equipment and rotary clothes dryer
  • One towel package per person (1 small and 1 large towel)

AlpenParks Superior Service: Shower gel, toilet paper, garbage bags are available on request free of charge.

Please note, if no daily cleaning is booked, that these consumables can not be refilled automatically! Other consumer goods can be purchased in the in-house mini-shop.

I need more towels / fresh linen?

Gladly possible at any time, just let reception now.

From 8 nights 1x intermediate cleaning and linen change is included.
Additional towel and bath towel change € 6,- per set

I need a high chair/cot/extra bed?

Baby kit (on enquiry) – one time € 16
Extra bed children aged 7+ or adults: € 16 per night
One extra bed is billed based on the respective basic occupancy.

Prices from December 2020:

  • Additional bed for children till 4,9 years - for free
  • Additional bed for children from 5 years to 13 years: € 16 per bed/night
  • Additional bed adults: € 50 per bed/night
  • Babybeds and high chair on request - one-off € 16

Daily cleaning/intermediate cleaning?

When booking rooms and suites:
The following hotel services are included: Daily recycling, bed-making, towel change, bath/WC cleaning.

When booking apartments:
Final cleaning: mandatory.
Waste disposal is not included in the final cleaning. The waste has to be disposed into the respective containers which are located in the main building (waste separation)

  • Intermediate cleaning optionally bookable upon reservation: Recycling, bed-making, towel change, bath/WC cleaning, kitchen
  • Daily cleaning / 2-day cleaning optionally bookable upon reservation: Recycling, bed-making, towel change, bath/WC cleaning - no kitchen

We ask you to book additional cleaning up to 3 weeks before arrival. On site, this is only possible subject to availability.

Can I do my own laundry?

You can use the washing machine / dryer for an extra charge.

Are the rooms & apartments wheelchair-accessible?

Yes some of our rooms and holiday apartments are wheelchair-accessible. (Please mention when booking)
