A challenging natural trail
The Bergstadl Trail is the more challenging alternative to the Hacklberg Trail and offers a constant stream of technical refinements. It branches off from the legendary Hacklberg Trail after around 300 m, squeezes through the avalanche barriers and winds its way through a postcard idyll directly to the Bergstadl. The often very narrow, winding and rooty trail is a real challenge for experienced bikers and all those who want to become one and are not afraid of a challenge. From the middle station of the Westgipfelbahn cable car, a completely new route awaits you, leading across wide meadows, past the Resort Buchegg and the Gerstreit Alm and finally back down to the valley.

The Hacklberg Trail from the Schattberg in Saalbach via the Westgipfel to Hinterglemm is one of the most beautiful single trails in the valley. Starting directly behind the Westgipfel mountain station, the single trail leads down a long grassy ridge towards the Hacklbergeralm. It then follows a forest trail to the Westgipfel middle station - Bergstadl, from where experienced bikers can choose between the forest trail or the challenging shortcut.
Length: 6 km
Difference in altitude: 600 m
Highlights: upper section: speedy single trail with a fantastic panorama, tricky root passages after the Bergstadl

Highlights: The trail offers everything that makes a trail biker's heart beat faster: small berms, stream crossings, tight hairpin bends and easy root and stone fields. The route ends at the head of the valley, from where you can return to Saalbach Hinterglemm in a relaxed manner or continue the tour on the Ossmannalm Trail.
Characteristics: This trail is unsupervised and is not permanently maintained. Ride it at your own risk. There is no special hazard protection along the route. For this reason, there is no official information as to whether the trail is open or closed.
Non-stop action on the Zwölferkogel.
The start of the new Z-Line (powered by TREK) is located right next to the middle station of the Zwölferkogelbahn in Hinterglemm, from where the Z-Line powered by TREK winds its way down to the valley with a breathtaking view of Saalbach Hinterglemm. The almost 4.5-kilometre-long route is predestined for ambitious freeriders who really want to let it rip on the freeride route. However, it also inspires touring riders who have conquered the mountain under their own steam and are looking forward to a somewhat different descent, equipped with appropriate protective clothing. The berms, wall rides and drops can always be bypassed. Tables, waves and Northshore elements are designed in such a way that they can easily be rolled over at low speeds. Shortly before the finish line, a spectacular souvenir photo beckons, which the action snapshot station automatically takes of the bikers as they ride past.
Length: 2.7 km
Height difference: 450 m
Highlights: Action snapshot station, wall rides, connection to the pump track and Wieserauberg riding safety area
