And the AlpenParks apartments in Mühlbach are the perfect starting point for a variety of adventures in the snow. There’s no better location for an unforgettable ski holiday!
Charming wooden interior design elements, clear-cut shapes, and refined details: That’s what characterises the 39 AlpenParks holiday apartments in Mühlbach. From your balcony, loggia or terrace, you can get a first glimpse of the magic that this holiday destination holds in store for you. The adventure then really begins once you step outside the front door. Winter sports enthusiasts truly get their money's worth all around the Steinernes Meer mountain range. Because skiing in Mühlbach means one thing above all: endless fun.
A total of 120 kilometres of slopes spread across the fascinating landscape between Mühlbach, Maria Alm, and Dienten. Variety is the magic word at Hochkönig ski resort: The slopes range from wide, flat runs to steep descents, and powder snow passages. Some valley runs lead you directly into the three villages, which means you can start and end your ski day wherever you prefer. While Early Morning Skiing, you’ll have the glistening white ski runs all to yourself. And in the evening, you can swoosh down the slopes under starlit skies while night skiing.
In Mühlbach am Hochkönig, there are also three fun parks with jumps, pipes, and rails – perfect for adrenaline junkies. The Blue Tomato Kings Park in Mühlbach, with a length of 1.8 kilometres, was specifically designed for advanced and professional skiers. The park on Natrun in Maria Alm is for beginners. And the Funslope on Aberg with its integrated Family Park is suitable for everyone. The Gabühel cable car then takes tired and content skiers and snowboarders back down into the valley after a long and exciting day on the slopes.
The Schneewutzel slopes were developed specifically for children, and they allow little skiers to bypass all difficult slopes in the ski resort. The separate family ski resort on Hochkeil – with five ski lifts and located at the foot of the Hochkönig – boasts natural snow and tons of fun for families as well.
While on ski holiday in Mühlbach, you should also give the Königstour a try. There’s no better way to explore the region than on pristine slopes and in crisp mountain air. No wonder the tour is considered one of the most beautiful routes in the Austrian mountains. 35 kilometres of ski runs and 7,500 metres of difference in altitude connect Mühlbach, Maria Alm, and Dienten. Your reward for going on this tour: exceptional scenic views of the surrounding mountains and a unique feeling of freedom.
