The morning sunshine makes the green of the lawn appear at least one shade brighter. Right behind it, the Hochkönig towers over the region with its imposing rock faces. And now, it’s time to focus on nothing but the present moment. Golf combines a wonderful time in nature with an interplay of focus and relaxation. The more beautiful the scenery all around, the easier it is to lose yourself in this pastime for hours on end. The Hochkönig region amidst the Salzburger Land offers perfect conditions for your golfing experience: One of the most beautiful golf courses, that of the Urslautal Golf Club, is located on a high plateau between Saalfelden and Maria Alm.
Look forward to a par 71 championship course amidst a magnificent mountain setting, and then refuel for your next round at the golf restaurant! Maybe you are still working on perfecting your tee? Then you might want to visit the practice facility – the driving range. It offers around 60 teeing grounds, eight of which are sheltered. With the Hochkönig Card, you can also enjoy a number of discounts at the golf course.
The Urslautal Golf Academy also organises unique golf events from May to October: DiskGolf and KickGolf. When playing DiskGolf, you first target the green with the throwing ring, then you hit the ball with a miniature golf club. When playing KickGolf, a football is used first before you continue with the minigolf club.
If that still isn’t enough for you, you only need to look at a map: There are more than 30 other golf courses in the Salzburger Land, in neighbouring Tyrol or in the Salzkammergut region in Upper Austria, which you can reach within an hour by car. Grab your club and gloves and leave your everyday worries behind you!
The Golf Alpin Card is perfect for golf enthusiasts. It lets you prove your skills on more than 40 courses of all Golf Alpin partner clubs in Tyrol and in the Salzburger Land region. The total points of this advantage card can be used flexibly – even on weekends and on public holidays.
