Divine winter hiking in the Arlberg region
Experience the magic of winter: Explore Warth-Schröcken on foot
Walks through a fairy-tale winter scenery
Snow and ice mould the unique scenery of Warth-Schröcken during the frosty season. There are many ways to fully enjoy winter beyond the slopes. Winter hiking on the Arlberg offers perfectly groomed paths to hikers and walkers. Fall under the spell of the magical atmosphere, the snow-covered scenery and the crisp snow beneath the boots. AlpenParks Hotel & Apartment Arlberg, your ideal temporary winter home, is at the centre of it all.
Dorfrundweg (Village Round Tour)
The start of all winter hiking entertainment leads through the heart of the old Walser village of Warth. This village has managed to retain its old, traditional character while bravely embracing modern life. If there’s enough snow, the idyll can show its full effect and is ready to be experienced with all senses.
Start from the village square and head for Lech Valley. Take a right at the church and go slightly downhill before the next right turn leads you back to the village centre – a short yet stunningly beautiful path, always well snow-cleared, and ideal for closely experiencing Warth’s unique beauty.
