Important information about your vacation in Pongau

Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about your stay at our resort in St. Johann im Pongau. Whether it's about getting here, apartment and room amenities, wellness, skiing vacations, or summer activities—our FAQ page provides you with all the important information quickly and clearly. This way, you'll be well prepared and can relax and enjoy your vacation in Alpendorf in the Salzburg region.

Are there parking spaces available at the hotel?

Yes, parking spaces are available directly at the hotel. Please note that the number of parking spaces is limited and no fixed parking space can be guaranteed per apartment. Spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

If there are no spaces available directly at the hotel, you can park your car in a neighboring parking lot (only about 1 minute away). Please also note that larger vehicles (e.g., VW buses) do not fit in the underground car park and must be parked in the outdoor parking spaces.

We apologize for any inconvenience and will do our best to find a suitable solution for all guests.

How far is it to the ski lift?

The Gernkogelbahn and Alpendorf Bergbahn mountain railways are just a few minutes' walk from the apartment.
The ski bus stops are a 2-minute walk from the apartment. (Please note the exact departure times.)

How far is it to the center of Alpendorf?

You can reach the center of Alpendorf in 10 minutes by car. 

How long is the reception open?

Our reception desk is staffed daily. You can find the exact times in the appendix on site. We are available by phone 24 hours a day.

When can we check in and when do we have to check out?

On the day of arrival, our rooms are available from 4:00 p.m. On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 10:00 a.m.

If you arrive after the reception closes at 6:00 p.m., please contact the hotel. You will receive your personal access code.

Is there a supermarket/grocery store nearby?

In St. Johann im Pongau, you will find supermarkets such as Hofer, Lidl, Penny, Billa, and Interspar.
The supermarkets are a 5-minute drive away.

Is there a sporting goods store nearby?

In Alpendorf, you will find an INTERSPORT store and several ski rental shops with small stores. In St. Johann im Pongau, you will find a HERVIS store.

Is there a ski school nearby?

We work together with the Toni Gruber ski school. As our guest, you will receive a 10% discount here.
It is a 2-minute drive away.

Can we book breakfast for our stay?

You are welcome to book breakfast for your stay. You can book for your entire stay when you make your reservation.

  • Adults EUR 19 and children EUR 9
  • Prices are reduced for advance bookings. Adults: EUR 17 and children EUR 8
Can I bring my dog?

Your four-legged friend is welcome to come on vacation with you (advance booking required).
We charge €19 per day (excluding food). Dogs are not allowed in the breakfast bistro.

How can I pay my bill?

You are welcome to pay your bill in cash, by debit card, or credit card (Visa and MasterCard). The bill is due upon departure. You are welcome to settle your bill the evening before departure. 

What is already available in my apartment?

The basic equipment is covered by the AlpenParks Superior Service:

  • High-quality, fully equipped fitted kitchen
  • Brand-name kitchen appliances: ceramic hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher
  • Toaster, kettle, filter coffee machine
  • Entrance hall with coat rack
  • Smart TV, WiFi
  • Large balcony or terrace with table, chairs, and parasol
  • Cleaning equipment and rotary clothes dryer
  • One towel package per person (1 small and 1 large towel)
  • Kitchen starter package with dish soap, dishwasher tabs, kitchen roll, filters, Wettex, dish towels

Superior Service:
Shower gel, toilet paper, and trash bags will be replenished free of charge upon request.

I need more towels and fresh bed linen.

This is possible at any time; simply inform the reception desk.

  • For stays of 8 nights or more, one interim cleaning and linen change is included.
  • Additional hand towel and bath towel changes are €6 per set.
I need a high chair/cot.
  • Baby kit (upon request) - one-time fee of €15.
Daily cleaning/interim cleaning?

Final cleaning: mandatory.
Final cleaning does not include waste disposal (bottles, crates, cardboard boxes, packaging material, etc.) and may be charged separately. Please dispose of waste in the designated waste room.

  • Interim cleaning can be booked as an option when making your reservation: waste disposal, bed making, towel change, bathroom/toilet cleaning, kitchen
  • Daily cleaning/2-day cleaning can be booked optionally when making your reservation: garbage disposal, bed making, towel change, bathroom/toilet cleaning - no kitchen cleaning.

We kindly ask you to book additional cleaning services up to 2 weeks before arrival. On site, this is only possible subject to availability.

Additional cleaning services can also be booked on site, but only subject to availability.

Can I do my laundry?
  • There are no laundry facilities in the house.
  • We recommend the Phönix laundromat in St. Johann im Pongau.

I would like to take out travel insurance. What do I need to do?
