Mountain biking becomes a sport with high enjoyment factor.
The trails are connected with nearly 1,500 km of designated bike routes in the Salzkammergut. And that’s exactly why it’s no problem mixing the highlights of the valley together on one single day: World Championship track, Panorama Nova Route, Hoisnrad Tour, Raschberg Runde and Kaiser Tour.
The routes in the valley, which can be easily combined with a trip to the many bathing lakes in the Salzkammergut, are absolutely family-friendly. Swimming enthusiasts rest up from the tour at the following beautiful lakes: Altausseersee, Grundlsee, Ödensee, Sommersbergsee.
The marathon of the Salzkammergut Trophy, which takes place every year in July, has become iconic. More than 200 km and 7,000 altitude metres need to be mastered.
