Starting on the second day of your stay, you can use all included services free of charge (the Guest Mobility Ticket is valid starting on the day of arrival).

Frequently Asked Questions About the Viehhofen Summer Card

The Summer Card is fully included in the stay for guests of the AlpenPark Apartment & Holiday Resort Rehrenberg—you won’t pay a cent extra. For a family staying a week, the value of the included services can easily amount to several hundred euros.

The Viehhofen Tourism Association introduced the name “Glückscard” in 2026 and uses it interchangeably with “Sommercard.” The content, benefits, and validity remain the same—only the branding has been expanded. At AlpenParks, we continue to refer to it as the “ViehhofenSommercard,” but we mean the same card.

From May 15 to October 31, 2026. The included services are available starting on the second day of your stay (the day of arrival counts as the first day). Exception: The Guest Mobility Ticket for public transportation is valid starting on the day of arrival.

When you check in at the front desk of the AlpenParks Resorts in Viehhofen, you can choose whether you’d like to receive the card in credit card format or digitally via email.

No. The card is strictly personalized and is issued in the name of each individual guest—including children. Service partners are authorized to verify the guest’s identity. If the card is lost, a new one will be issued.

No. The Guest Mobility Ticket is part of the Sommercard and allows you to ride buses and trains for free throughout the state of Salzburg. It’s even valid on the day of your arrival.
