Family hike to the Windraucheggalm

The starting point for the hike to the Windraucheggalm at 1460 m is the Arthurhaus in Mühlbach am Hochkönig. The Arthurhaus is nestled between the Hochkönig and Hochkeil and is easy to reach by bus or car. The Windraucheggalm can be reached in winter in around 40 minutes via a groomed forest path with wonderful views of the valley.  You start the hike behind the Schweizerhütte Alpine dairy at the Arthurhaus and follow the signs no. 401A and no. 436 in the direction of the Windraucheggalm.

In summer, the hut is open to the public and is also easily accessible with a baby carriage via forest paths along the Mandlwände. A great excursion for the whole family!
