Hike to the Sonnspitz in Hinterglemm

Starting from AlpenParks Hotel & Apartment Sonnleiten, you can either drive to the Lindlingalm/Hochseilkletterpark parking lot at the end of the Hinterglemm valley or park at the large parking lot in Lengau and take the Talschlusszug (runs every hour).

From there, follow the forest path and at the first junction turn right over a bridge towards Forsthofalm. After the Forsthofalm, the route continues along beautiful alpine meadows to the Henlabjoch. Finally, the trail climbs quite steeply up to the summit. Once at the top, you have a breathtaking view. Before the final summit ascent to the Sonnspitze, you have the option of hiking to the right up to the Spieleckkogel.
