Hike to the Prinzensee lake in Maria Alm

We start at the Natrunbahn, which is only 150 meters from the AlpenParks Hotel & Apartment Maria Alm. There is also a large free parking lot here. Then we walk past the Natrunbahn to the right until we reach the Hotel Pinzgauer Hof Maria Alm - the hike starts here and you can already see the first signposts.

Initially, we walk along the hiking trail right next to the MTB Flow Trail One and already enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. A short stretch then takes us through the forest until we reach the entrance to the forest slide park (definitely worth a visit!). After a few minutes' walk we reach the mountain station of the Natrunbahn and the TOM Almhütte. From here, it's another 10 minutes to our destination, the Prinzensee lake. We enjoy the sunset by the lake and then hike back to the center of Maria Alm.

Tip: You also have the option of doing a circular hike and walking back via the Jufenalm and to Maria Alm.
