Hike to the Lauskopf in Dienten am Hochkönig

We drive towards Dienten to the Filzensattel. Shortly after the Filzensattel, you will see a chapel on the left-hand side of the road and a sign for the "Alpinpark Dienten" high ropes course. You can park here. The first signposts can be found right next to the parking lot. We walk along the road and turn steeply left uphill before the boulder barrier. Continue along a forest path and then through a forest. After the forest, cross the meadow and you are back on the forest road towards the Pichlalm.

Shortly before the Pichlalm, turn right towards Lausköpfe. (everything is well signposted). The trail continues initially across alpine pastures and then through mountain pines, becoming increasingly steep and rocky in places up to the Lauskopf summit cross at 2,130m. Once at the top, you can enjoy the impressive views of the Radstädter and Hohe Tauern mountains, as well as the imposing rock castles from the Hochkönigstock to the Steinerne Meer and the Leoganger Steinberge.
