New: The Path of Happiness in Viehhofen
Slow down and enjoy the panoramic view
Since the summer of 2026, a new themed trail has connected the Hecherhütte with the Rehmbergalm in Viehhofen—all in the spirit of slowing down. The Happiness Trail invites you to consciously take in the little moments along the way.
The route follows a forest road and can be comfortably covered in about 30 minutes—ideal for a relaxing walk with the family or as a couple. Greeted by a stained-glass butterfly, the trail leads past interactive stations.
After the walk, it’s worth taking a break at the Hecherhütte: regional delicacies like Kasnocken, Wiener Schnitzel, Brettljause, Kaiserschmarrn, as well as coffee and cake, round out the outing.
