Käfertal - Nature experience trail
The nature adventure trail in Käfertal in Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße is always worth a visit. The magnificent panorama, the untouched nature and the beautiful waterfalls make the walk a special experience. For families with children, there are great playgrounds and cozy huts and mountain pastures to stop off at.
The starting point is directly at the parking lot of the Ferleiten Wildlife and Leisure Park. There are numerous free parking spaces available here. Then take the right-hand side towards the Tauernhaus and walk approx. 4.5 kilometers quite flat into Käfertal. Along the way, you will find numerous themed stations with benches, climbing rocks and a large water playground with Kneipp facilities, sun loungers and a raft. With a bit of luck, you might even spot some marmots.
Afterwards, a visit to the Ferleiten Wildlife Park is on the program. With the Zell am See-Kaprun Sommercard, admission to the wildlife park is free. You will receive the Sommercard free of charge on the day of arrival at the following AlpenParks resorts:
