Bike & Hike to the Plettsaukopf reservoir

We start our tour behind the AlpenParks Hotel & Apartment Orgler and cycle 200 m to the crossroads (you can see the fire station in front of us). Here we turn right onto the Tauern cycle path. Now follow the signs to Schüttdorf.

We cycle to the church in Schüttdorf, cross the main road and cycle 100 meters to the left and then turn right after the après-ski bar "Dorfschenke". Now continue up the mountain road in the direction of the "Entwies Bauer".

At Entwiesbauer, turn left up the steep forest road to the barrier. We leave the bike here and walk the last stretch. After a good 20 minutes we reach the largest reservoir on the Schmittenhöhe "Plettsaukopf". There are some comfortable sun loungers, a water playground and a play boat for the children.

We return along the same route.
