Visit to the Haus der Natur museum in Salzburg
The Museum Haus der Natur in Salzburg is an exciting place for anyone interested in nature and science. With an area of over 7,000 square meters, it offers plenty of space for a wide variety of worlds and exhibitions. There are fascinating themed worlds such as the underwater world in the aquarium, the reptile world (currently closed, as of summer 2024) and an interactive science center section.
A highlight of the museum is the large aquarium with over 38 tanks, which shows a colorful variety of sea creatures - from tropical fish to sharks. In the Science Center, visitors can try out and experience physical and technical phenomena for themselves.
The museum is suitable for all age groups and offers a mixture of information, interactivity and amazement - perfect for an eventful day in Salzburg!
The many exhibitions in the Haus der Natur are spread over eight levels in two buildings. The main building houses the classic natural history themes and the zoo section. In the Science Center, which is connected by a glass staircase, everything revolves around research and experimentation. You should plan about three hours for a visit to the museum.

- Prices: Adults € 12,- / Children (4 to 15 years) € 8,50
- Baby carriages: Pushchairs up to 110 cm long and 65 cm wide can be taken into the museum.
- Dogs: Dogs are not allowed in the museum. Assistance dogs on duty are welcome.
