Family hiking trails in Viehhofen

Since summer 2024, Viehhofen has had some new features and discoveries for families.

On the leisurely Damarachrunde you will find the great viewing platform with rocking chairs, the new marble runs and some of the XXL games. This short hike starts at the Viehhofen tourist office right in the town center. Follow the Dorfstraße and Erzbachstraße up to the bridge and follow the forest road to the left. Continue through the forest and across the meadow. Back to the main road via Windbachweg, left along the footpath back to the information office. Walking time approx. 30 minutes.

Another recommendation is the children's hiking trail on the other side. Start again at the Viehhofen information office, cross the main road and the bridge opposite. You will soon see the hiking signs for the children's hiking trail. There are many different stations where you can discover XXL, games, instruments, swings, viewpoints and much more. Highly recommended! Walking time approx. 1 hour.
