Canyoning
Walking across a ravine from top to bottom is described as canyoning and provides a superlative adrenalin surge. Abseiling, down-climbing, jumping, sliding, swimming and sometimes even diving. The tours are managed by experienced, approved canyoning guides. Equipment with ropes and carabiners is available to hire.

The wild water, straight from the glaciers in Hohe Tauern National Park, provides a variety of difficulty levels. Every year between 15th May and 30th September kayakking and rafting enthusiasts can get the ultimate kick here. You can go rafting no matter what the weather, and even when the weather is bad it provides an interesting alternative.
