Health orientated strength training at the AlpenParks Resort hotel in Maria Alm
Kieser Strength Training in Austria: in the well-lit fitness area of AlpenParks Resort Maria Alm, strength training becomes simply a pleasure. In front of the beautiful mountain backdrop you will achieve your personal best.
“A strong back knows no pain” – the motto of the Kieser Training in Austria. Breathing, sitting, running: without the strength of your muscles it’s simply not possible. From the age of 25 the human body loses muscle on a constant basis. Muscle tissue is replaced by fat and this can result in back pain, tension, incorrect posture, obesity and diabetes. Those who train their muscles regularly and keep active will be on the best path to staying healthy. The Kieser Strength Training at the AlpenParks Resort hotel in Maria Alm ensures a healthy and active holiday in Austria.
Exercises and machines
Kieser Training Selection provides a system of balanced strengthening using 20 different training machines (six machines in the pre-opening stage), all of which have been certified by TÜV, the German Technical Inspectorate. The machines meet the highest standards for dynamic strength training, both concentric and eccentric with a variable resistance that aligns with the natural strength curve. They allow for a total of 41 exercises that take individual muscles through their entire range of motion. The weight stacks allow for precise changes of resistance in small increments. The machines can be adjusted to the size and needs of the individual and they guide him through the various movements, making them very safe to use.

Strength for Health
Strength and mobility at any age
Strength training counteracts physical decline. Numerous studies have shown that even the very elderly can improve muscle strength.
Improve functional capacity
Healthy trained muscles are stronger than untrained muscles. Support your bodyweight more easily and protect yourself against injuries at work and play.
Create the basis for healthy sport
Strength training prepares the body for sport.
A strong body knows no pain
A well-trained muscle corset protects the spine and reduces the strain on intervertebral discs. You can tackle existing back pain with targeted strength†training†or prevent it in the first place.
Correct poor posture
During our daily life or when we play a sport, the body is subject to one-sided† loads. This changes the strength ratios of individual muscles†and creates†an imbalance, which in turn causes problems with posture.
Firm up the figure
Trained muscles are firmer and larger than untrained muscles. Muscles appear more prominent beneath the surface of the skin and so look firmer. Increase fat consumption and firm up the figure.
Ward off lifestyle diseases
Muscles play a major role in fat and sugar metabolism. Well-trained muscles are an effective tool with which to ward off† lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol or high blood pressure.
Protect against osteoporosis
It's not just muscles that react positively to training stimuli - bone tissue does as well.
